Control feels safe, but it can also limit what we discover. Curiosity, on the other hand, opens doors—it turns challenges into experiments and conversations into possibilities.
When we pause and choose curiosity over certainty, we invite growth, connection, and insight we might otherwise miss.
☕ Try this:
Pick one situation today and replace “How can I control this?” with “What might I learn here if I stay curious?”
For more than 25 years, I have worked alongside leaders and teams across countries and cultures, often in fast-moving, demanding environments. Along the way, I realized something important: even those who appear strong and accomplished need space to pause, reflect, and realign.
There were moments in my own journey when I felt the weight of expectations and the quiet question: Is this still aligned with who I am becoming? It was in those pauses — not in the noise — that clarity emerged.
As a psychologist and ACC-certified coach, I now intentionally create that space for others. Good Coffee Coaching is my invitation to slow down for a few honest minutes, to ask meaningful questions, and to reconnect with your authentic self. Sometimes, real growth begins with a simple pause… and a cup of coffee.
